Dear Fans is a Tennis Channel series giving personal access to top tennis stars. This episode followed Stefanos Tsitsipas as he traveled the globe in search of adventure and championships: 

"Anthony Seratelli of Jersey Filmmaker, with whom I’d previously collaborated on Beautiful Lie, brought me onto the project. It was my first real “vlog-umentary,” requiring me to process a large amount of random, sometimes shaky footage, some shot by Stefanos himself or his friends. Pulling a coherent story from that material was no small task. 

My first cut, however, was rejected—Anthony explained that treating it like a documentary or a sports feature made it much too polished. I had to rethink my approach and quickly get up to speed on vlog editing techniques: jump cuts, erratic pacing, and an authentic point-of-view style. With Anthony’s guidance, we reworked the edit and delivered a piece that matched the vlog format and was much better received. 

Lesson learned: Never underestimate the nuances of vlog storytelling!"
