"I edited this piece written and voiced by Dick Enberg in the truck at the Super Bowl alongside producer Al Szymanski, a brilliant and intense collaborator. Al was known for chewing editors up and spitting them out. But when he realized I could match his stamina and, eventually, anticipate what he wanted to do next, we developed a very productive working relationship. 

We spent countless all-nighters together on both NBC and CBS projects, and this was no exception. Editing on-site under tight deadlines was challenging, but rewarding. This piece captures Enberg’s unique voice and style while keeping pace with the energy of the biggest game of the year."
