"Stephen Colbert must be a fan of NPR's Science Friday because apparently he heard us promote BLAST! on the show and then booked my brother, astrophysicist Mark Devlin, on The Colbert Report. That appearance, shown here, was huge for the project of course. Not only was it great PR for the film, but it made Mark legendary amongst his astophysicist colleagues and was certainly useful for his career. 

But the biggest coup of that appearance for me, may have been the clip he showed of the movie. (The exercept in this this edited clip is extended to show off the entire opening of BLAST!). Stephen never played movie clips on The Colbert Report, so this was a personal triumph."
